Jim Lindenberg

From the moment he founded World Class Wire and Cable in 1994, Jim Lindenberg has turned risks into success to become one of southeastern Wisconsin’s best-known entrepreneurs.

He left a comfortable job to empty his savings and launch his own wire, cable and tubing manufacturing company, building it into an industry leader within five years. In 2007, Ernst & Young named him Entrepreneur of the Year for both Wisconsin and the Lake Michigan Area. He is just the 15th person worldwide to simultaneously hold the CSE (Certified Sales Executive) and CME (Certified Marketing Executive) certifications.

He sold World Class Wire and Cable to Anixter Inc. in 2008. In 2009, Jim Lindenberg purchased the Milwaukee Wave, the longest running Indoor Professional Soccer Team in North America. In 2009, he also bought majority interest in NX Level. In March of 2013, he sold the Milwaukee Wave and the Wave of Hope and bought majority interests in the Legends of the Field, a sports memorabilia company while operating Lindy Enterprises, a business consulting firm and JML Holdings, a commercial and residential property broker, since 2009.
